About training program
I-Way’s goal is to help every individual obtain knowledge and skills necessary to pursue a career in IT, while helping employers find and retain quality employees. Our training and career services are designed for unemployed job seekers, providing one-on-one support with job placement assistance.
I-Way offers extensive job training, a combination of on-the-job training and related technical instruction, and customized training with the opportunity to earn nationally accredited certifications. Training available include On-the-Job Training, Upgrade skills training, Customized training and Certification exam preparations.
I-Way works closely with employers, vendors and manufacturers to develop in-depth programs that prepare people for jobs in the IT industry. In addition to formal classroom training, I-Way also prepares participants for jobs through transitional employment with I-Way’s workforce development professionals or in the community.
Our courses and curriculum:
- Are built in consultation with employers, vendors and manufacturers, and are reviewed regularly to ensure that you are ready to obtain competitive employment when you graduate
- Include interactive learning in simulated workplace environments, so that you will get hands-on experience
- Offer additional online learning materials to give you the freedom to study in a flexible way
Learn a new skill, get hands-on learning in a new career, and develop skills you need obtain nationally accredited certifications by enrolling in one of our short courses. Short courses offer small classes with a choice of qualifications, industry areas, learning styles and durations to suit your needs
